Our paper "CharacterChat: Supporting the Creation of Fictional Characters through Conversation and Progressive Manifestation with a Chatbot" has been published at the ACM Conference on Creativity & Cognition. 

The paper investigates the potential of using a conversational user interface (a chatbot) to support writers in creating new fictional characters. The key idea is that writers turn the chatbot into their imagined character by having a conversation with it.
