Contributions to ACM DIS'24
01.07.2024
The ACM conference on “Designing Interactive System” (DIS) took place at the IT University in Copenhagen from July 1 to 5, 2024. With a theme of “Why Design?”, the program attracted a rich and diverse mix of contributions, including papers and workshops that focused on speculating, building, evaluating and critically questioning the design of interactive technology.
We were involved in several ways:
- A paper by Daniel Buschek: "Collage is the New Writing: Exploring the Fragmentation of Text and User Interfaces in AI Tools" (link).
- A collaboration with people from LMU Munich and Aalto University, the paper: "The AI Ghostwriter Effect: When Users do not Perceive Ownership of AI-Generated Text but Self-Declare as Authors" (link)
- Participating in the workshop on "Human-AI Assemblages" (link).
- A report on the conference week with a focus on human-AI interaction by Daniel Buschek is available here.
